Nuestras Voces is an award-winning feature documentary that shares the stories of Spanish-speaking migrants who made Australia home between the 1960s and 1980s. Through intimate weaved interviews and archival material, the film reveals how their resilience, culture and community spirit have shaped Australia’s social and cultural tapestry.

Directed, filmed and edited by Diana Paez, and produced by Latin Stories Australia, Nuestras Voces was created as part of the wider Nuestras Voces project funded by the Victorian Government. Since premiering at the 2022 Palace Cinemas Spanish Film Festival with sold-out sessions across major Australian cities, the film has received two international awards and continues to deepen understanding of migrant and refugee experiences through the eyes of Spanish-speaking communities.
